Had a lovely lunch at Las Iguanas in Birmingham. Our favourite restaurant chain. South American-themed. Hit the spot. Kept my eating in check in spite of conversation and company and in spite of high hunger levels. Result!
Dinner came after a 30-minute treadmill run at the gym at a brisk 7.5mph. Burned 489 calories. Thought I’d struggle. But I listened to The Now Show podcast as I was running, so the time flew by! (And I had a smile on my face throughout!)
Felt fantastic afterwards. But still didn’t feel the need to stuff my face at dinner. So I ended up eating modestly and not even getting full! Result!
